Christmastime

Christmas is a favorite time of year for many of our volunteers! Thanks to their efforts, the Van Horn Mansion features a growing collection of beautiful antique decorations and old-style displays.

Vintage Christmas!

Saturday Dec. 13; 1-4pm

Thanks for your interest! Our event had sold out. We'll see ticket holders this Saturday, and for all others please join us in 2026.

Ticket Holders: You will receive a receipt email from PayPal to verify your order. Physical tickets are not needed, we will have your name at the door when you arrive.

Our most popular event of the season! This fundraiser is pre-sale only and benefits 2 non-profits: The Van Horn Mansion and Niagara Celtic. This year we've added even more stations, including many new activities.

Enjoy old-fashioned Christmas activities, crafts, and games. Admission includes refreshments and a gift bag, which will be filled with mini gifts and treats as you explore the Mansion (takes app. 75 min.).

Admission: $16.00 per person*includes processing fees. Limited ticket event - don't delay ordering!

    Holiday Tours

    Sundays, 1-4pm; Nov. 16, 23, 30, Dec. 7

    Open to the public; 90 minutes. Cost: $5pp. We start as groups arrive.

    Enjoy a brief tour with Mansion history. Then relax in the parlor as you learn the origins of Christmas décor and traditions.

    Private Rentals

    Decorated for the Season: Nov. 10 - Jan. 10

    The Mansion is lovingly decorated with Victorian and Vintage style decorations. This makes for a beautiful and unique backdrop for your private event!

    Decoration Donations

    The Newfane Historical Society welcomes additions to our Christmas displays. Items must be in good condition and created prior to 1950. We also appreciate financial contributions to help us grow and preserve our collection. Please contact ustoday.
