Revitalization Project
In honor of the Van Horn Mansion's 200th birthday in 2023, the estate will undergo a variety of necessary enhancements in order to refresh the property and help keep it a mainstay attraction of the Newfane community.

A local organization has offered this challenge grant to help upgrade the Van Horn Mansion. Earning this grant will go a long way towards refreshing the property with many improvements and upgrades. If we fundraise enough and win the grant, it means a $70,000 investment into the estate.

- New Wheelchair Ramp
- ADA compliant bathroom
- New & Upgraded Kitchen Appliances
- Rental Equipment Upgrades
- Various building repairs
- Refreshed Displays & much, much more!

Project Updates
Special thanks to everyone who has supported our efforts! Some plans completed or underway include:
- Second floor redesign
- Brand new chairs for indoor events
- Reworking the estate's landscaping
- Repairs, cleaning, and painting the Lower Veranda
- Updates to a few indoor displays
- reorganizing the office, broom closet and kitchen

- Updating entryway displays
- Assessing and reworking various displays and collections
